Let's just get right to this...
- Four Complete Levels - since I made the decision to expand the levels in size it takes a bit more time to actually work out and polish the levels to the point where I feel comfortable with them. This includes visuals and gameplay. The levels now take about 15-30 minutes to complete depending on your skill level.
- Hot Air Balloons - I really wanted the game to have a real adventure feel to it and what better way to cruise around a level than in a hot air balloon? The real goal here was to create a vehicle that could be powered by a candle. By using the burn mechanic, the candle produces hot air which in turn lifts the balloon of the ground. With elevation being controlled by the candle, you must catch air currents to take you left and right to reach otherwise unreachable areas of the level. Be careful though there are things in the wild blue yonder that would like nothing better than to burst your balloon.
- Dynamite Enemies - the first official enemy in Candlelight explodes on the scene. These enemies patrol areas in the game making in difficult for the candle progress. Get too close and boom!
Finally to wrap up I've created a new gameplay video so you can take a look at these changes.
Thanks for giving Candlelight a little of your time and interest.

Looks beautifull and the candle protagonist is a great idea.
