Post news Report RSS BTSBO Day 3 Ground Pounders

Well its day 3, and there is not much else today except for the two images of our units today. Before we get to that, the website is coming along slowly, and any input would be gladly accepted and looked at. We will hopefully have one on our forum soon, so try and check it out, or make one yourself.

Well its day 3, and there is not much else today except for the two images of our units today. Before we get to that, the website is coming along slowly, and any input would be gladly accepted and looked at. We will hopefully have one on our forum soon, so try and check it out, or make one yourself. By the way, I think my lack of enthutheasim is because of labor day, and that means that most people are on holiday mode, including myself.

One main issue we have been having is the lack of a talented individual who can model organic stuff, a player modeler. We have been asking for one for a long time, and it seems that only the FPS’s get the player modelers. Well we kind of need one. There is a staff application open for it on the forums. Just click the “Join Us” link and it will take you to it.

All right and without further ado, art time.

Mobile Infantry (MI) Trooper

M.I Trooper

The Mobile Infantry soldier is an army on his own, equipped with the best technology and equipment, power armor, the trooper is the modern super soldier. Armed with the Morita battle rifle, and can also be added with a variety of other weapons up to a tactical nuke launcher, the trooper is a simple one man army. Though all of this training and weapons make the trooper deadly, they are known to be highly expendable, as the Federation must fight on the ground for planets, the MI must pay the price.

Arachnid Warrior bug

Warrior Bug

The Warrior bug is the standard combat bug in the Arachnid Army. Looking almost identical to the worker drones, the warriors are smarter and have been known to do everything from silent assaults, all the way to ambushes. Its entire body is a living weapon. Strong enough to rip through armor easily and its jaws have been known to rip open steel if given enough time. The warrior can loose almost all of its legs, and still be combat effective, the only way to ensure a kill is to aim for the nerve sensor which is a small round globe about the size of a human fist. Warrior bugs have been seen on every planet in combat against the Federation, and were some of the first bugs that the Federation knew about before the war.
