While this mod is a direct sequel to Bryce Mod, a joke mod I made back in 2017 that truly is terrible, this is more of a spiritual successor to Peak, a mod I was making in 2022 and accidentally deleted in an act of stupidity.
After that devastating incident, I tried remaking the mod for HL2, but the scale got way larger than I originally planned so I lost motivation for that after some time, too. Below are some screenshots from that mod.
Like Peak, I just want to create a mod for Half-Life that is short (~1 hour) and plays like an actual game. It doesn't have to be great, just competently made and fully playable. Unlike with Peak or BM1, I am making my own custom soundtrack for BM2. The tracks made so far prominently feature samples from 90s sample CDs that were used in producing HL1/HL2's soundtrack (Spectrasonic, Zero-G, etc.). Again, it doesn't have to be great, just listenable and fitting with the vibe of the game, and so far a largely ambient, simple soundtrack seems to fit it well. Below are some of the tracks.
I've spent a lot of my recent time going through HL1's source code and changing stuff to my liking, including adding the MAC-10 as a new weapon as an upgrade to the Glock. I did not create the MAC-10 models or animations (though I did edit some of the anims), and it can be downloaded here. While the MAC-10 is mostly all in-game, it is still not fully implemented since it fires like a laser, but I'll have to fix that later since lot of mapping work is needed!

Looking great, and those two songs you made fit very well with Half Life in general. The screenshots for the HL2 mod look fantastic as well. I'll be following. You should pick back up the HL2 mod, you have obvious talent.
