Well so far beta 8 has gone down pretty well with the general populous. Right now I'm sorting out a dedicated server genrously donated by AdreneLAN, but also we've been lucky enough to recieve great support from the guys at www.gameconnect.nl who will be including HL2AS in a large article which talks about the source engine and a whole bunch of mods. Not only that, but they are also proving a statted gameserver to play HL2as on, download mirrors, and are generously offering tech support for this mod, and many other source issues. All you need to do is hop on #techconnect on irc.gamesurge.net and one of the friendly chaps will be sure to help you out. I'm aiming to release a small patch this weekend too, which will just update some music and fix a few bugs in as_citytension, bring the version up to 8b, so stay tuned for that.
