Bad news

This mod is going nowhere, and I've decided to just kill it. The maps made for the game will be released eventually. The reason for the killing is that someone I know wants to make a standalone, freeware game based on the original Eternal Struggle ideas. So, the original ideas are coming, just not in a Battlefield package. This project, which is so far named Single Substance, will be on either the Quake 2 or 3 engine, and will be on moddb as soon as we have media to show. A demo version of the game is so far scheduled to come out during the winter, featuring some multiplayer options and a taste of the single player campaign. Because the maps will be on FileFront, I am absolutely abandoning the mod's profile, so posting a comment begging for revival will NOT be read by me. Truly, this isn't a very bad thing, because I was doubting the entertainment value from the start. Keep your eyes peeled for Single Substance's debut, because it'll be on the front page sometime in the future.
