News of our entry into the Summer of Mods event and some details about items that you can expect to see in the next version (1.2).

It’s been a while since the last update but we want to reassure everyone that work is continuing as normal. Part of the reason for the lack of updates is that ModDB asked us to enter the Summer of Mods event (https://www.moddb.com/groups/summer-of-mods-indies/news/som-is-live) and they wanted some exclusive material, so we provided them with screenshots and information on future features. Because of this we haven't been able to provide info on these items until we’re featured in the event (assuming we will be), but we are working on other features now that weren’t part of the event submission, so hopefully we’ll have some new screenshots etc. soon.

We can say that we’ve been working on refining the upgrade costs as the costs were fairly low in the last release. For 1.1 we were more focused on getting the upgrades themselves working and now we can look at the costs more closely. We’re also working on infantry healing near the barracks, shockwave artillery clearing the fog, a GDI EMP strike weapon, increasing the rate of fire of obelisks so that they’re more effective against multiple units, moving the mothership to the airfield (so that it’s built instead of being an item that just appears), making commandos capable of using charges on any vehicle (not just tier 3’s), removing the fog reveal for superweapons, making some factions have per-defense upgrades and others not. And much more.

As a final note we would like to mention that we are looking for modelers, so please get in touch if you’re interested or if you know of someone who might be.
