Hello Everyone!
The games alpha is coming together very nicely. FPSControl (a Unity Asset) has made enemy AI and gun coding really easy. Hopefully this coming weekend will result in a completed alpha, if not expect the week between January and February. I've coded the round system, but I have some errors I have to solve.
Crosshairs and some guns are coded. I'm still working on player health with the RAIN AI engine. But I'll post up a video of gameplay once I get that polished a bit more. After that, it'll just mystery box and round system to get polished for this weekend. And we'll have an alpha. The development will rocket and allow the game to be finished faster. Possibly being finished this summer!
Big thanks for everyone being patient with me while I work out the bugs! Don't forget about the GTA 5 game Q/A I'm hosting. Add Blake-Rodriguez as your friend and I'll add you. The reason I'm doing GTA 5 and not black ops 2 is because only 4 people can play at a time. We wouldn't be able to all get together. So if you have it, join us on January 31, 2014. Yes, I can. I'll have to check my schedule to find another day. Maybe a weekend night or something.
so how much longer do yo think till it will be out?
The alpha, once we get a few coding problems worked out should be within the next week or so. The full game could be done maybe the end of summer of this year or at least by Christmas. Like I say, I'm only one coder and developer. But I was helped a lot with models, music and ideas by fans of the game.
