I'll quote from the forums:

You're probably wondering why the hell our site was down
Well, let me tell you what i can remember from the past 3 months of down time
Somewhere in september, our host (Flagrun) was hacked by some group called "Blood BR" (if you look up 'BloodBR' on google you get loads of pages which were hacked by them).
Flagrun decided this would be a good time to switch to a different server (they have wanted todo that for a while), this only took a few days though.
Then Chaos Theory (Flagrun administrator) had to restore about 50 databases, and he hardly had any time for it.
Now, after 2 and a half month of downtime, i decided i couldnt wait any longer and just start the forum all over again.

For the past 2 and a half month, not alot of progress has been going on, but Amckern has been really bussy coding for us, he told me Alpha 2 is nearing completation which includes a VGUI (character selection screen and stuff) and a particle system coded by Darkeye (although we're having problems getting Darkeye's code to work with Amckern's) and loads of more stuff, and Flash's King of town map is almost done.
We also have a new mapper, Cow (who joined us about a week before the site went down) and he has his first map almost done, more stuff on this later.
