"In the multiplayer component of Aeternus, you get to pick which side you wish to fight on, good or evil. The forces of good consist of archangels, avatars, casters, and nephilim. If you choose the side of evil, you can choose to be one of many fallen angels and demons. These characters do battle on enormous maps. Thanks to the source engine, we can make sprawling abandoned cities, or a replicate of the Vatican City, or even a beautiful mountain range.
The mod is centered around a complex yet intuitive combat system, which calls for extreme manipulation of the keyboard.
Each character is able to fly, whether it be through levitation or wings, planned speeds of up to 150-200 mph can be reached in a mode termed, 'hi-speed' mode, in which the character is not able to do anything but fly, as his/her wings/levitation abilities are locked in a certain position as long as you remain in that mode."
