The Abductilizer is a Martian weapon which is used to abduct hicks back to the mothership. The second function of the weapon is to trap the hick in a ray that is shot out of the weapon and can be used to move the hick up and down and all around as long as the hick is trapped inside the Abductilizer's ray.

cool idea! will the ray run out of juice when you use it to hold people? could it be possible to pick them up and throw them into the ground? that would be hard to code.. maybe you could just pick them up and let them go and let falling damage do it

Yeah, it will run out of juice. It's capacity is 200 and it runs out of energy the longer you hold the fire button. Yeah, you can pick up hicks and drop them to their death. I doubt it will be hard to code :)

i mean coding the beam to hold players and smash them against objects would be hard to code. picking them up and dropping them requires no coding except the beam

The beam is just going to be a simple sprite... I think I see where you're coming from but I still think it won't be that difficult :D
