"A Short Tale of Solitude" is a project that is for me personally isn't just another stupid oriented on survival, or "button mashing" FPS, it's something else entirely - a surrealistic journey through the different states of consciousness and terror. This is a story of Sebastien the boy who in the turmoil of war had lost both parents and was taken to an orphanage. However, this is not a normal educational institution because a few weeks earlier caregivers leave their charges with the principal "save yourself". What the boy finds is a continuous fun and lack of any control by the adults. At first all goes well - but sometimes, as in life, are born of conflict and strife, as a result of which are formed four "camps" fighting among themselves for dominance over the entire building.

Playing we ask ourselves how could this happen, the answer is very simple - people in extreme situations, deprived of supervision or surrounding their "normality", are willing to do almost anything, regardless of the moral significance of the act. It's the same and in this case, a daily views are "Hangman", the victim of a new order in which the only rule is to "accept or die". At first everything seems to be understandable, but with time the whole story turns into a surreal nightmare, full of symbolism and brutality, including mute characters and their "sick" ideas with time
take on much sense in order to once again over next few hours again itself "deface". Along the way, we meet not only other children but also the creatures from their worst nightmares in the principle that we fear what we don't understand. This feeling enhances a specific graphic composed of black and white contrast us realizing that in this world, the universe ASTOS only blood can be red.

The most interesting for us as writers, is feelings associated with players who discover a "allusions" which others didn't have the slightest idea. What we want to create it in some sense the resultant of our previous projects (mostly, I mean Sadness Forest and Solitude). These were not "blind alleys" developing, but the work that allowed us to create something new and original as much as possible.

Important: This is a game of the border adventure, survival horror and slasher convention made in black and white. "Non template" models and textures were used deliberately to emphasize the surreal journey through the world of the imagination "sick" child.

"your rod and your staff, they comfort me"... hmm something seems wrong about that sentence ;)

otherwise, looking interesting. I just don't know about all the grain and spots. You bring down the visual quality of the game by doing that too much.
