Legends Evolve
My name is Tyler Jones, and I am the sole creator of Legends Evolve. It is a top down shooter with retro graphics and gameplay, but with a modern twist. It's face paced pixel action is accompanied by an original and adaptive soundtrack and online leaderboard. There are over 6 different bosses you can battle, each with its own style and attacks. Each of the 5 evolutions arm you with more fire power as you blast your way through 1-bit inspired worlds.

I designed Legends Evolve with the original intent of limiting the main mechanic to just one. This did not follow into the final design, but it helped me come to the decision of only having one available weapon at any moment. This weapon only becomes more powerful as you level up and evolve.
Legends Evolve takes advantage of Unity as its engine, with scripting done in C#. I made the art assets in Photoshop, and created the music in Ableton.
Currently it is only available for Android, but I will be releasing it to iOS in the next few months, as well as supporting PC and Mac again. I hope you enjoy it, and please rate the game to help increase visibility on the Google Play Store.
