This is a somewhat strange update to write, as it is bittersweet. As the final hours of our Kickstarter come to a close its become clear to us that it has not done as well as we had hoped.
That being said I think there were many behind the scenes factors that hurt us in our campaign, and led to a slow start earlier on, that we were not able to recover from.
We want to thank everyone for the support you have given, the reaction we have gotten about our demo has been particularly great and encouraging, which is why we feel as though we can’t walk away from this project. We managed to keep our team together and continue production on Final Equinox: The Arrival. Our pace may be slightly slower, but our timelines will remain generally the same. We may try to show the game at a few conventions as well, but that remains to be seen.
We are going to continue to update the demo, and should be releasing a Mac and Linux demo by the end of July, and would appreciate your continued feedback.
Once again I just want to extend a heart filled thank you to all of our backers and everyone who has supported us and shared our campaign. We can’t wait to continue showing each of you what we are working on!
