21CW HQ - 21st Century Warfare.com in conjunction with MyInternetServices.com proudly announces the forthcoming release of the 21st Century Warfare Mod (21CW Mod) for Battlefield2.
On Wednesday, 14 September 2005, 21st Century Warfare (21CW) will release for general public use, their highly anticipated mod for Battlefield2. This mod will contain many tweaks, changes, and adaptations to the Battlefield2 gameplay engine that enhances the teamwork concept of play that is the cornerstone of 21CW.
21CW is the largest Battlefield2 tournament in the world with over 600 active members using real military rank structure and 12-hour battles to increase teamwork and an organized sense of play for Battlefield2. The 21CW Mod helps move 21CW into the forefront of organized play for Battlefield2.
Almost every aspect of the standard Battlefield2 engine has been modified and engineered for the ultimate balance of team play, weapon strengths, and fun. This mod will be the foundation for the upcoming primary campaign of 21CW using Battlefield2. 21CW has already established itself as the primary destination for organized teamplay of Desert Combat and now takes the quantum leap forward with that gameplay style to Battlefield2.
Included in the changes you can expect for this initial release are:
·Improved helicopter and plane physics
·Improved realism of weapon ballistics and damage
·Multiple ammunition types in MBTs (M1A1, T-90, and Type 98-)
·Tweaking of player class weapon loadouts
·Addition of mini-guns to the Opposition transport helicopters
Future releases of the 21CW Mod will include new player models, classes, weapons, vehicles, planes, and helicopters as well as a few surpises.
The 21CW Mod will be used by over 600 players in the 21st Century Warfare Tournament (http://www.21stcenturywarfare.com). This tournament provides our mod team with an excellent base of players to test, tweak, and finalize all aspects of the 21CW Mod.
