I know, some of you are getting pretty antsy about 1.1 and want to know just what to expect. We are pretty much where we want to be with the 1.1 release and you should see it within a few weeks. We are just finalizing a few things and giving it one good last test before we release.

I am not going to tell you everything that will be in the release, that would take pages (the readme has over 90 new features listed!). Instead, I will go over some of the highlights;

*All new player animations.

*Prone.

*Every map has been reworked and there are several new ones. There will be about 12 maps in this release.

*Auto team balancing.

*Many new weapon skins and a Dragunov sniper rifle.

*Network code is much more efficient to prevent lagging and to prevent hacks.

*Vietnamese voice commands.

*Players limp when hit in the leg.

*Team scores are now independant of individual scores to help with clan matches.

*Gameplay code has been totally reworked to allow multiple different objectives on one map.

*Cool new secret officer feature to help him coordinate the efforts of the team.

*Ammo is now mag based.

*Uber-cool new spectator mode.

*Several secret new medic improvements :D

*Bombing maps can be round based or re-enforcement based depending on how the mapper sets up the map.

*King of the Hill and Escape gameplay styles are complete. In King of the Hill, your team must occupy an area for a set length of time to get points. In Escape, one team must attempt to get to an extraction point before the other team eliminates them.

*NVA now has a medic.

*Morale has been reworked so that you get more for
completing objectives and for working with a fire-team partner instead of the whole team.

*Weapon accuracy has been reworked so that it takes a while to settle down after you jump, crouch, go prone, get up, etc.

Is that all? Nope, just the highlights. What won't you find in this release? The major thing that people wanted for this release that we did not have time to do was all new player models. The player models look a lot better with the new animations, so we decided to release 1.1 to you guys instead of making you wait another couple of months just so we can do new player models. Don't worry, this won't be the last release and we think you will have so much fun playing that you won't even notice :D
