ZombieMod takes a unique approach on the Zombie Apocalypse by putting it in the perspective of a military commander, not a survivor. Since it is 2 years after the first infections, resistance on the east coast is organized, resulting in battles rather than small groups fighting for survival.
We will be doing a feature on National Guard units soon, so I'll start it off with this teaser picture.
"We're going in"
this is alpha 169 were going in and secure the bulding copy over? ok alpha 169 copy that. ok guys were going in cover me .. boom ah zombie bang and then a nuke came and destroyed the world the End by TheEdsir
why do all of them have M203 grenade launchers? only 1 per sqaud should.
Only 1 of them actually uses the m203, the rest fire normal m4, it just happens to be the way the mesh shows up ingame.
You can't skin them differently? Like only one model has the 203? I'm fine with it as it could be explained one man has all the munitions while the rest err...were all grenadiers? I dunno.
It's not hard to imagine that a more diverse set of weapons would be used by any remaining military unit. Zombie apocalypse kinda throws SOP out the window.
Cool !!
OMG OMG OMG, QUICK FINISH MOD!
spec ops eh?
No, these are regular soldiers.
National Guard or actual Army? Not like our friend here can tell the difference...a civvie see's a nice M4 with a Trijicon mounted on in then they assume Delta Force or Navy SEALS...
i hope u guys make a freeakin singleplayer campaign if u do, base it to the walking dead
well kinda if u watch the walking dead
Walking Dead is firstly a comic book serie, wich is 10 times better than the TV show, and in walking dead, army got pwnd at the first times of the infection, so 28 weeks later would be better... But I guess if they do a campaign, it would/should be completely original and only based on the devs imagination, and not a vulgar plagiarism of another story.
its not plagiarism its inspiration plagiarism is were you take someone's idea and say its yours so if they made is based round something word for word then thats plagiarism. however if they took the idea of a country completely obliterated by infection and you have the army trying to contain it, thats a fairly good solid frame for a plot. inspiration, not plagiarism.
Yeah the walking dead is not a good TV series, comics are awesome, but the last two episodes made me want to kill myself.
NOBODY CARES, STOP CRYING, MORE ZOMBIES!
I CARE! IM NOT CRYING! YES I KNOW BOUT THE ZOMBIES!
We have a storyline worked out, we just need to get everything ready.
Correct
yay they have a story line already so no need to worry guys just wait wat they have on their sleeves
I reckon that if there's a campaign, it should be based on 28 weeks later, that would be AWESOME...
Nice keep the good work coming
I remember a long time ago someone gave alot of cool ideas for SP campaigns on RN. The best was that of a Platoon of US soldiers tasked with finding a missing unit that was sent on a recon mission. However, the temperature was very low and they have to travel along a long road to get to them. Obviously lots of zombies stand in the way.
I remember a line: "Will they survive or will the cold or the undead get them?".
Frost bites.
So do zombies.
But harder.
why do they hold weapons so strange? it looks like the guns had grown from their shoulders.
limitation with what we have. In order to fit the bones properly the guns had to be aligned as such.
Thats exactly how I would act if I was a squad. watching all directions and being careful.
The guns are too big, I just think so...
Pretty much every weapon will be remodeled and retextured sometime later.
I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS!!!!!
But i would like to know if i can run coH on windows 7 or if i should just go and use my older windows vista pc?
This looks really great! But arent the guns embeded in their face?
