Reborn FAQ Thread - Zero Hour Reborn mod for C&C: Generals Zero Hour

Q1: Does v6.26 need v6 to work?
A1: No, 6.26 is a completely new release, and it doesn't need any of the older versions.

Q2: I keep getting serious error messages. What do I do?
A2: Do a clean reinstall, your problem is most likely improper installation.

Q3: I did a clean re-install, but I still can't start the mod.
A3: Then you did something wrong. Follow the thread instructions again.

Q4: I swear I followed all the instructions perfectly, but the mod just won't start.
A4: Send me a PM, with a detailed, step by step report about how exactly you installed the mod, so I can give you proper instructions on how to fix your problem.

Q5: I did a clean re-install. I can run the game now, but it still has errors sometimes.
A5: Make a detailed bug report in the forums containing:
1) The general you were using.
2) The general(s) you were fighting against.
3) The map you we're playing in.
4) The thing you we're trying to do (stuff you we're building, upgrades you we're researching, abilities you we're trying to use, etc.) before it crashed. I will use the report to find whatever's causing the error and hopefully fix it in a future patch.

Q6: Why can't I see my mouse cursor ingame?
A6: Because you failed to read the instructions properly and deleted the entire "Data" folder. Delete the "Data/Scripts" folder only, not the entire "Data" folder.

Q7: I was playing a LAN game, when suddenly the message ""Due to totally valid and completely unbiased reasons, the game has decided that you cannot win. U MAD?"" appears and the game ends. What is that all about?
A7: You got a network synchronization error, also known as a "mismatch". It means that you or one of your friends either installed the mod incorrectly, installed a different version of the mod, have other mods installed that are conflicting with Reborn, have poor internet, or all of the above. Though there are times when it seems like the game just mismatches you for fun, hence why I wrote that phrase.

Q8: Why is the AI not working? What does the "NO AI" tag after some generals names mean?
A8: "NO AI" means exactly what it says, currently that general has no AI. Will the AI ever get fixed? Yes. but only after all the new units we want to add have been added.

Q9: Where is the General's challenge? Why is the button missing?
A9: Because the General's Challenge currently doesn't work. Will it be added back? Maybe, but not after all the new units that we want to add are added.

hi and sorry for my poor english, i have problem and please help, at start i see only animation and cant see main menu, i deleted only scripts... before installing this mod, i had mod where menu was at bottom, not on the right side, i deleted that mod, deletted generals, installed generals and installed this mod, please help

Hello! Q7 - we have reinstalled everything following the instruction but the problem still appears. LAN connaction is totally alright and we use same copy of the game but it still appears. ANy ideas howe to fix it?
