This version is NOT FINAL by any means, but it does have a lot of the new features in it.... This is also the newest build I have until I finish recovering the files I lost. Saying this, the tooltips, unit names, some models, maps, AI, textures, may not be in this release, so dont expect anything spectacular... This is really just an update, because it lacks the newest models and maps, although it does include the Hornet and weapon balancing for both sides. Also included are new worldbuilder tools (mesh mold option fixed)
NOTE: YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD V0.60 FIRST! INSTALL IT, THEN THIS ONE! IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS, IT WILL NOT WORK, AND THE GAME WILL CRASH!

That's what I'm talking about. The only complaint I have is that there is no AI xD. But the units function great, the sound effects definitely make the game. I'm assuming you need voice actors so please message me.
AI is kicking my ***. Problem solved ;) Can't wait to see some more updates. I'm not quite sure if I like all the haziness but it definitely sets the mood. I wish my WorldBuilder functioned otherwise I'd crank out some nice winter maps.
Ok I think I'm doing something wrong. I downloaded and installed to the directory with the first halo mod beta. But almost everything's the same.
The main issue that makes me wonder if I'm going wrong somewhere is that I don't have the hornet its the arora bomber still (and the description of this says the hornet at least should be there... unless I'm reading wrong) I'll post an update after a fresh reinstall of Zero hour and the halo beta's.
Ok so after a brand new reinstall only the UNCS replaces the USA campain name and skirmishes and the Covent replace GLA in skirmishes and things are a bit brighter. Aside from that... nothings happened. Am I missing something?

you click yes to replace all.... oops..... delete the original big file from 0.60... lol, forgot to mention I changed the format of the mod to be more organized and easier to edit... so yea, try that
Ok did so though game went a bit glitchy on me. reinstalling again thanks to that.
BUT we made progress there. Main menu had the new look, the hornet was in there (though flew sideways and shot out its but O.o it also tiny) and the rocket guys where invisable. got 2 pelicans... one that could only carry 4 guys and could not attack at all. and the one from the last beta. Oh and the black fighter could not lift off and it would just go in circles on the air pad.
I'll post another post another update after the reinstall fix and hope where all good.
Ok so we got a stable one playing now. Aside from the hornets still shooting out of there buts and sides they work, though short swords are unable to land. They just circle there spot forever. sometimes they do that before they take off to. Aside from that the Eliets still fart out grenades most of the time but the grunts (though modles are the rebels now from GLA) throw right.
lol, sorry bout the hornet, works in my version :P, still havent fixed the Elite, working on animating Halo 3 infantry models (mainly UNSC) oh and you recognize the main menu music?

as for the music I'm guess its from... halo 2? Or maybe reach... dunnnu. Not a core player of the shooters.
Its the theme from all the Halo games, when something big happens, lol
I have also found that the hornet moves sideways. I can only put soldiers in it when it is on the landing pad. It's tiny. When i evacuate the soldiers from it they just drop down from it and suffer fall damage (about half their health).
Just a thought but could you ask to borrow some scripts for units from some other mods like shockwave? That has some helicopter that turn on the move to shoot (probably has the entire unit assigned as a turret) and so are able to fly sideways whilst shooting.
If you asked nicely im sure they'd let you and even if they don't then you could just look at their scripts and do something similar.

after two hours of uploading to Moddb, the beta got finished, and when i clicked submit, it logged me out... So the download will not be on Moddb, ever again, its happened twice before
only 24 ppl have downloaded the newest version.... Guess the fans left....

maybe it hasnt been downloaded, b/c its not in the downloads section.... I tried uploading it twice again, and it logs me out as soon as it finishes, Moddb is starting to annoy me

I'm downloading the update now. In short i love you. I'm a massive fan of halo but RTS games should be left on the computer (didnt like halo wars).
This is such a great mod. If there is anything i can do to help let me know (wont be able to help alot as im not a modder or a scripter or anything like that but i can send bug reports nd stuff)

One thing that i would like to say is that even if you dont have the models for things like the hunter, the jackel, the brute or the arbeiter i liked that they were included in 0.60. You could have just assigned them different modles to help differentiate them a bit.
I was on the lines of downloading this, but the fans and your dedication to them has swayed me!
