Zone of Continuous Fire: The modification is designed from scratch for the single-player game Battlefield 2. A colorful and realistic battle atmosphere was achieved by changing all the visual effects, voice acting and improved game interface. Added a huge amount of original content including maps, vehicles and weapons including cut content. Due to the appearance of new weapons, it is also possible to improve it with unlocks.

A huge part of ZCF feels like a proper remaster of the BF2 that remains surprisingly loyal to the spirit of BF2.
Except it isn't a remaster. And it doesn't pretend to be one. ZCF also brings a lot of original content which fits the rest really well.
Unlike what seems to be the majority of BF2 mods nowadays, Zone focuses on vehicle warfare just as much as it does on the weapons which I really love.
I used to a give lower rating to the mods that had too many weapons ported from other games (which kind of broke the immersion for me) but this one also recreates so much of the BF2's pre-release or cut content that it makes you feel like there's still something to explore in the game that you thought couldn't surprise you anymore.

Nice mod.
The modification is excellent, it's interesting to play it, it even works fine on weak computers, the only minus is that the survivability of enemies is doubled.I know myself that it's very long and hard to create modifications, so I don't understand the critics, let them try to create something themselves.
