One of the most interesting Half-Life mods around! A crossover mod and toolkit that brings the world of Spyro the Dragon to Half-Life!
I find the concept of Year of the Dragon really interesting. As a matter of fact, i didn't actually get hooked into this just by it being a mod. Rather, what i actually find the most interesting is this mod as a toolkit for the people to create Spyro-based levels in Half-Life.
Then again, the demo left me kinda meh. It wasn't bad at all, specially considering its just a demo. But then again, i'm still waiting for the true meat of this mod to reveal itself. This 6/10 will probably change with future releases; overall, it is interesting.
This mod is good, and this needs some fixes for Windows 10.

Man this is so cool, i cant imagine how much work was put into it. Allmost all work really well exept some switches( like ones in freezer)

Excellent Gameplay and lots of potential.
The amount of love and detail here shows. The levers on doors near the end were a bit jank for me but otherwise no real issues. The mirrors having real reflections was one of many little details I really appreciated. The soda machines Being breakable. The NPC scripted events and interactions. And all the animations spyro uses, the movement, it's all just so good.
TLDR: Yes, it's not perfect but it does so much so well that I don't care and love it regardless.
The new demo is a byte-sized classic Spyro fun, if you liked those games or are mildly interested in the concept of mashing that together with HL, please give it a try. Not only is playing as the dragon as good as ever, all the levels are remade to fit his playstyle, and there's a bit more for those that like exploration.
