The sole purpose of this mod is to make Battlefield 1942 as realistic as possible to WWII, not sacrificing realism for balancing or to make it less boring, while trying to keep the action of thousands of soldiers with a relatively small number of players. There has been and will continue to be much research involved in creation of this mod. Because this mod is heavily focused on keeping it as real as possible, I expect it will mostly capture the interests of WWII enthusiasts rather than hardcore gamers. This is my first mod and I have learned very much in the short time I've been working on it, and I look forward to making this possibly the most realistic mod ever created for BF1942.

Most of the aircraft have been given additional and/or repositioned guns. The Zero is likely the most intimidating of all the aircraft because its guns stretch across the entire wingspan.
the zero only had 4 guns...two 7.7mm machine guns in the nose and 2 20mm cannons in the wings. at least thats what i've always been told and thats what is on most websites
Acording to my book off ww2 planes this is the respective armament:
A6m1, A6m2, A6m3 -> two type 97 7,7 mm machineguns in the nose and two type 99 20mm cannon in the wings
A6m5a -> two type 97 7,7 mm machineguns in the nose and two type 99 mk4 20mm cannon in the wings plus wing racks for two 132 lb bombs
A6m5b -> two 12,7 mm machineguns in the nose and two type 99 mk4 20mm cannon in the wings plus wing racks for two 132 lb bombs
A6m5c and later variants -> two 13,2 mm machineguns and two type 99 mk4 20mm cannon in the wings plus wing racks for two 132 lb bombs
Given the confusion of what the actual armament of this variant should be, I've put it on my list for Release 3 to re-research the details. The problem I had when I researched it the first time was that the sources seemed to conflict and I went with the one that appeared to match the model in BF1942, which I think is a rather unpopular variant if it's accurate to any specific one.
No guns on the Wing tips this is the A6M2 model 2 mgs on the nose and 2 13mm cannons in the mid wings
