A faithful reinterpretation of the classic Wolfenstein 3D for the DOOM sourceport EDGE (aka 3DGE) complete with all six original episodes plus Spear of Destiny and the console port levels known as the First/Second Encounter. Comes with HD sprites, walls, sounds and a remastered soundtrack. Get psyched!
If you already have a copy of EDGE (aka 3DGE) and a Freedoom/DOOM2 IWAD, or if you would like to try the mod out with newer builds of EDGE, though this is provided as is.
Notable changes since 1.0:
End level delay increased
Variable ceiling colors re-implemented (code somehow got lost between versions)
Enemy AI tweaked (mostly related to "patrolling" behaviour)
Completing secret levels grants a 15 000 bonus
New HUD overlay in two variations in addition to the status bar
DM frag counter for HUD & status bar (for the sake of completion)
Player weapon damage was a little off
Updated Barnacle Wilhelm sprites
Bosses showing up with -NOMONSTERS parameter fixed
Cleaned up the "victory" graphic
A couple of SoD maps displayed wrong floor
DOOM doors finally replaced with horizontally sliding doors!
Score cap decreased from 999999999 (nine digits) to a more realistic 9999999 (seven digits)
Smoothing issue fixed (yuck!)
Locked door texture now unique for each type (gold and silver)
