I installed the mod normally. The game crashed after every round. Someone wrote this solution in Twcenter.
- Install M2TW outside "Program Files"
- Install OiM2 v1.3
- Install English trad WITHOUT quotes.txt and quotes.txt.strings.bin
- Install Patch 1.3.2
- Use 4GB patch

friend you need use cd version if you don't want crashes dont use steam version. TESTED! MY STEAM VERSION CRASHES - DON'T KNOW WHY
install
1.you need install CD version (Install M2TW outside a forder for example("D/medieval 2 total war" dont "D/newforder/medieval 2 total war"
2.install mods link: medieval 2 total war/mods
3. Install OiM2 v1.3
- Install English Copy extracted "data" folder to your "D\Medieval 2 - Total War Kingdoms\mods\OiM2" folder and re-write old files
- Install Patch 1.3.2 Copy extracted "data and cleaner.bat" folder to your "D\Medieval 2 - Total War Kingdoms\mods\OiM2" folder and re-write old files
- Use 4GB patch patch kingdoms.exe and medieval2.exe
next right click forder medieval 2 total war-left click properties-read only off-apply next security choose users (edit choose full control) complete done
delete fonts in forder medieval 2 total war/data
extract fix 1.rar, copy fonts patse to Medieval II Total War\data and Medieval II Total War\mods\OiM2\data
copy animations to :"D\Medieval II Total War\data" paste over animations
click cleaner.bat in "D\Medieval 2 - Total War Kingdoms\mods\OiM2" -enter ok done
mod tested on campaign and battle to turns 118 not crashes
usually it will crash with other mods but some mods are compatible in general you have to test it
