Boy, direct control just looks to be a lot more interesting with this
Don't wanna burst your hype bubble but direct control ability on fauna is rather limited. You'll still be able to play as them and attack, but a lot of the intricate moves like dodging/side-stepping are scripted functions that can only be performed by the AI.

Could the marines, have evading animations from gun fire, and grenades too, such as the elites in the previous video, like rolling to side or something instead? Kind of like the marines do in-game, when you try to run them over, when they would try to evade by rolling to the side.
That's certainly possible, although not currently implemented.
Can you make the energy sword block bullets?
