This patch includes a fix for Widescreen Resolutions, support for High Resolutions (up to 4k), and more Resolutions listed in the Video options. The journal is now fixed to work with the High Resolution patch and the game runs on the Glide Renderer as it was supposed to be played.

This just insta crashes the game when you get to the menu,tried different resolutions,even with dgvoodoo, no dice.
Yeah this just breaks the game, gamma values become broken when you put it in 1920x1080 (everything looks washed out), mouse movement becomes sluggish and bad and the game in general becomes prone to crashing. Not sure why this widescreen "fix" is being pushed by pcgamingwiki cause you're just better off playing just the vanila game without this.
This patch is required for Tridef to work. Although there aren't very many eye popping effects (like Alice Madness, there's a violin player that literally pokes out of the screen), the game has intense depth, as if you were looking into another room in your own house. It's well worth playing in 3D. The hand/weapons are slightly popping out, enough to give you the effect that you're really shooting at a distance. It's really neat.
this worked for me, got up and running perfectly. not sure why it didnt work for others but im here confirming that it can in fact work in 2023.
