Long before the rise of Valyria, Westeros was divided into countless Petty Kingdoms. In the south, the Reach is consumed by fire as weak kings are set upon from all sides, and strong ones vie for their remains. In Dorne, the deserts run red with blood and in the north four kingdoms struggle for supremacy, even as they face invaders from all sides. As chaos descends upon the lands of Westeros it remains to be seen which Kingdoms shall forge dynasties to last a thousand years, and which will fade into history.
Just throwing this out there: does anybody actually read the faction summaries in the campaign screen? That's the only thing I really have left to do and I'm not stoked about writing unique descriptions for 28 different factions. I could reuse a few, but the lore has changed enough that just about all would require re-writes. I have put together shorter descriptions that pop up at the start of new campaigns and apply to the whole region. Unless anybody out there really wants more lore I'll probably just copy/paste those into the campaign selection screen as well. Otherwise it would delay the release at least a few more days (more if I slack off on it). Any objections?
I always read the descriptions
I always read them.
Just copy them, I think everybody taht plays this mod knows what's going on with the houses
I liked the descriptions! I hope the Lion of Winter(fell) is still there :P
I personally don't know much about this time period in Westeros, or all of the factions in the mod. But honestly it's not a huge deal. I say just copy them
OK, copy/paste it is! The Lion of Winterfell etc. will stick around, but it will all be from those initial lore popups at the start of the campaign.
I always read those...but if you think it´s a loto of work, just skip it n.n
I read them but if it means the mod will come out sooner you can just skip them and do them for 3.0 maybe
Well I read them too and I like them but you may add them later in a 2.1 patch :)
