"Water Margin Total War - Humiliation of Jingkang" is a Chinese mod based on the Medieval 2 Total War engine. In the seventh year of Xuanhe in the Northern Song Dynasty (1125), the Jin army divided into east and west and went south to attack the Song Dynasty. In the east, Wanyan Ganlibu led the army to attack Yanjing. In the west, led by Nianhan, they went straight to Taiyuan. The Jin soldiers on the East Road broke through Yanjing, crossed the Yellow River, and went south to the capital of the Song Dynasty, Bianjing (now Kaifeng, Henan). Historically, this was the start of a chain of events that culminated in the Jingkang Incident, which brought an end to the Northern Song Dynasty and gave rise to a rump state that endured in the shape of the Southern Song Dynasty.
