V1.15 includes huge number of new mechanisms. And it is fully compatible with latest WG Eugen updated in Feb 2024.
Version 1.15 Updates
New Mechanisms:
Beyond Visual Range Air Combat: All air-to-ground and ground-to-air weapons are converted according to a proportional scale, similar to their real-world utility.
Reconstruction of Air Force and Air Defense Weapons: The air force units and air defense weapons units of various countries released in this version have been reconstructed.
Realistic Air Force Data: The data such as flight speed and altitude of the air force have been reconstructed, and converted proportionally according to real-world data. Aircraft flying at high altitudes will no longer fear short-range air-to-air missiles.
Early Warning Aircraft: Most countries have added early warning aircraft, providing strong airborne reconnaissance capabilities.
Small UAVs: Small UAVs carried by infantry, mostly used for short-range low-altitude reconnaissance, with excellent concealment.
Artillery Reconnaissance UAVs: UAVs launched by artillery reconnaissance vehicles, long endurance,
unarmed, mostly used for medium to long-range low-altitude reconnaissance, with good concealment.
Large UAVs: High-altitude long-endurance UAVs, some with certain ground attack capabilities, better defense against medium and short-range air defense firepower.
Airborne Electronic Warfare Systems: Include fixed-wing electronic warfare aircraft that can effectively suppress ground radar systems and enemy aircraft, and electronic warfare drones focused on suppressing radar air defense weapons.
Cruise Missiles: Cost-effective air-to-ground firepower, vulnerable but relatively well-camouflaged, powerful but easy to intercept (can be intercepted by man-portable weapons).
Data Link Firepower: Weapons that can launch cross-domain strikes by receiving target information from friendly forces, including air defense missiles and ground attack missiles.
Nerf Artillery: The aiming time of all artillery and rocket launchers has been greatly increased.
Hidden Command Post: Difficult to detect, very sturdy, but can be occupied by infantry, and cannot be moved after deployment (can be deployed on vehicles).
Defensible FOBs: FOBs of various countries have added ground and air weapons, making them very difficult to be occupied and able to defend against attacks on the base.
Main Changes:
A small number of units from the period between 2012 and 2020 have been added to various countries for balance purposes.
Some new reskins have been added to infantry and air forces of various countries.
Important Note:
The current version has not undergone rigorous testing and may have many bugs and balance issues.
The previous versions of Vietnam and South Korea have been closed in this version and will be re-released in subsequent versions.
The naval data in this version has not been proportionally modified according to the modification of the air force weapon data, which may result in balance issues. It is recommended to wait for subsequent versions for a better experience.
Version 1.16 Plan:
Replace Vietnam with Red Cobra, add units from Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos.
Update the first campaign.
