Their tentacles tunnel through the ground like the original Starcraft's Sunken Colony.
Yes, they did, but they evolved into tentacles that shoot through the air and stab victims!
edit: or is that part beyond your modding capabilities?
From my own WC3 modding experience I think that is probably impossible to do and make it actually look good due to limitations of the engine.
Awesome work team, I'm watching this project's progress with great interest ^^
