After seeing how bad Reforged is I've decided to release the patch directly.
First of all, I did not add the models I've made using new mdx format of Reforged because I do not want people to upgrade their games to 1.32 right now, it is better to make a release works fully with the old patches for now.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Download the 6th release(skip if you did already)
2) If you did not see the fixes for it download and export them too: Mediafire.com Mediafire.com Mediafire.com (skip if you already did)
3) Download this patch, EXPORT IT to your Warcraft III installation folder and click 'replace all'
YOU MUST ENABLE LOCAL FILES, INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON 6TH RELEASE THAT YOU NEED!

HOW TO INSTALL:
1)To enable local files (if you are on Windows)
0- You may need administrator permission to edit regedit
1- Open the registry by press Windows + R and type “regedit.exe” - without the “”
2- Find the folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Blizzard Entertainment>Warcraft III
3- Right-click on the blank space in that folder (right panel) and select Create - New DWORD
Name: Allow Local Files
Value: 00000001
4- Once created, check the file for typos. Close regedit and now you can start Warcraft 3 with the local files. You may restart your computer to make sure the changes take effect.
2) Installing Mod
1- Open the rar, you will see a folder called 6th release
2- Move everything from that folder into your War3 folder, many loose files and folders will be created inside your War3 installation.
Download the fixes posted , and then download the 7th patch and move everything from 7thpatch folder to warcraft III's installation folder

In the meantime, I can confirm that 6th release (plus patches) works with no issue in 1.32 (Reforged) in classic view and in 1.31 (I am on a Mac).
Now I have 2 Warcraft 3 installations in my tiny HDD thanks to Blizzard (lucky I backup 1.31 before the forced upgrade)
I can post a Reforged 'HD' mode patch too but I do not want people to get into that shithole
Are your Reforged models the same as classic/Rebirth just in new MDX format, or they are upgraded/new models of Rebirth in the new MDX format?
New models that I've shown actually Lich and Infernal , I can revert them back pretty easily , but not those high elven houses they will lose all their quality if I downport them

That's good to know!
Apart from that, it's still not clear how Blizzard will deal with this situation. For example, they could make WarCraft III Classic and WarCraft III Reforged 2 separate clients again. Then your models, created in mdx format, might be incompatible with the "real" WarCraft III Classic anyway.
That won't be happening ever, unfortunately. Blizzard will patch and may bring all the cut features in future updates, but they will never go back. They want one unified client, one unified Bnet, absolute control of what happening with their IP. Creativity keeps the game alive for years, but it is also a source of money they don't want to lose. Take the example of HoS, they make better over time but keeping monetarization a priority.
Reforged is only 30 bucks. They won't stress that much into make it better. The ultrarealistic models, independent of the company who made them, are finalized, and they won't change because of money.

Thanks a lot for the mod and the work you and the team have done with it. But I would like to know how I can get the old 3D portraits and the old WarCraft trees back.
I found a bug that make the Gnoll Poacher listed as Mechanical instead of normal organic like other organic units.
Hey, I just found your mod looking for a good HD upgrade without buying WIII Refunded. Sor far it's great but I've seen a few things I don't know if they're known bugs or problems with my version.
Context : I'm playing on the classic game not linked with my battlenet account, ver. 1.25.1.6397 (I carefully avoided to merge my game into Reforged). I've followed every step listed in the 6th release, dled the 3 patches and then installed the 7th release.
Problems : - some models portraits have their textures completely messed up (best example, Garithos' face is metallic ; Kael's looks like it's made of clay) ;
- some models textures *are* completely messed up (the naga royal guard's green skin covers his weapon, the spear thrower troll is completely blue from his hair to the tip of his spear, ...) ;
- player "base" units will retain their basic appearance even though their portrait is HD. Buildings/critters/(most)creeps/(most)campaign units do work normally.
I just wanted to make sure what is on my end and what is a known bug. Thanks for the mod anyway and please excuse my bad english :)

I had the same issue in 1.26. Upgraded to 1.30.4 and it works great. I suggest 1.30 because of widescreen support that might fix the issues.
I have the last version 6th release put on. Is there a point in putting this patch 7 on when I have the latest version that is merged with reforged?- version 1.32.1.14604
Also with this crappy update patch for my classic WC3 merged with reforged they made any menu backgrounds gray. It's great how they update it to make it worse for those with the classic in that way. I don't know if with any of your modding skills if you could bring your mods appearance to these menus to replace this gray garbage.

Hi eges, there are some unit from the mod that don't have correct scaling compare to what they look like compare to the vanilla model.
