Warcraft:Rebirth is a purist Warcaft III HD mod. I'll be posting further development here.
The Mod is better than Reforge in every way I can think of.
As for the Patreon support page I can think of Many reason to use a Patreon as listed below
1: to get "financial support" for a mod or project you make on your own time, and are not selling it. so their basically Donations in some ways.
2: this does not involve this mod, however I have see some Skyrim Mod Authors use Patreon to Discourage "Mod Leeches", and "Mod Thieves" who go on to various Skyrim Mod pages, download mods, than reupload them or use them in their own with out ever give one ounce of credit. in fact I believe that happen to this mod a year or two ago by someone on this site. Several of my own creation and other were stolen as well. That mod I believe was Removed.
as for the user UweWeber84's review. I must say his review is "baseless and immature". Calling the creator a "Fraud" and "Coward" is very immature. More over their statement of
"this creator is a hostile FRAUD out to milk money out of people and a COWARD inflating their numbers with fake accounts and attacking people who criticize them" I like to know what concrete evidence they have to prove this. If they have none they should not be saying something that can result in "Defamation of Character" at least in California just look it up. for a review on user UweWeber84 I have only this one score -10 based on the baseless review. If the admin see this please consider removing his review as it is baseless, false, and does not reflect anything.
I would give it 11/10 as author tries to correct bugs and take in player feedback, things that Blizzard developers dont care about despite taking our money for it. I urge all real WC3 fans to boycott Reforged and download Rebirth instead
