When I was playing Victoria 2 I couldn't help notice that many flags were not historically accurate or censored so this mod is devoted to making all the flags correct or at least some what closer to its historical counterparts.
Here is a quick replacement criticism and feedback are welcome
It always irritated me that there are no historically acurate communist flags used for the Netherlands in Paradox interactive games. Its better then the edited Yugoslavian flag in the original Victoria II, but its still just an editted GDR flag. Maybe you could use the symbol of the "General Dutch Youth League" (Youth of the CPN) as inspiration;

Wow thanks I have been looking for a Dutch communist symbol for ages and yet no luck i will implement this into the next update.
Cool! also note that the color orange is never used by republican & left-wing parties in the netherlands (because of its monarchist/colonialist/apartheit connections). Maybe these posters will help as well;

I thought it was the opposite as the orange was the republic flag and the current is red is the kingdom.
Also do you know anymore communist groups? the previous symbol looked to out of place on the flag
Contemporary:
En.wikipedia.org
Tiny.cc
Tiny.cc (Not communist but has a communist past - also a very iconic tomtato-star logo)
Historical:
En.wikipedia.org (radical trade union comparable to the IWW)
En.wikipedia.org'_Party_(Netherlands) (social-democrats before the communists splitt off)
Biografie.vara.nl (logo of the "workers radio & television public broadcast" VARA - Social democratic but in its early days used very distinct left wing symbolism - this logo is pretty solid to use i guess - maybe changing the letters)
Also some more info on the dutch red/white/blue flag and how it came into place.
En.wikipedia.org
The red/white/blue flag of after the Jacobin Dutch Batavian Republic was a compromise between republicans and monarchist. Monarchist always fly the red/white/blue flag with an orange pennon.
