The mod is set in 1914 and is based off the island of Tiengemeten in the Netherlands, and therefore we have had to research into the dutch language to get the environment and immersion correct so you, the player, feel like you are somewhere new and different.
The name of the island, "Verloren" is dutch as well, although I'm sure you can figure out what it means, and if you do, then you will have an idea of what the story will be like in this short mod, if not, then it's more of a mystery.
Talking of mystery, the story is not necessarily self-evident, there are notes and records of journals to collect as you progress, these are not always in order in which you receive them, but they do explain the back stories and the history of the island, making the main story more clearer.
But what this news is for are the images we have to show of current progress on two levels, the "Manor" and the "Village", these are in alpha stage and are nowhere NEAR finished, but we think that certain sections are good enough to show, although do keep in mind that these levels will change most definitely as they are in alpha.
We hope you enjoy these images and thank you for viewing this mod
The "Clockwork Mind" team
"Verloren" does mean "Lost" in Dutch.
I am not sure if you guys are Ducth because above you said;
"...we have had to research into the dutch language to get the environment and immersion correct ..."
looked at your member page etc, but i assume you still need to take the time and effort to fill that all in. So, i can only guess your not Ducth, should you need any info on Dutch languages and or country then feel free to pm me, because i am Dutch.
All in all, screens do look great, very lifelike and realistic.
will keep tracking you guys!!

Well thank you! We are not dutch, however we do have a member who is dutch and a voice actor, so he helps with the translation and cultural understanding. More help is always welcome! :)
Verloren also means lost in German.
well, should you have any questions then please just ask. i am to busy with my own sp-mod (HL2; episode 3 the Closure) to be a active member for your mod but questions i always can ask. So just ask when you should have a question and much luck with the development of your mod.
