This mod aims at modifying Dawn of War 2 Retribution to portray combat in a more lore-accurate manner. Prepare to find Space Marines as powerful as the books depict them, ork hordes in their hundreds, and dozens of Guard tanks shelling into an incoming tyranid horde!

Thanks to the Elite mod team, the mod is now working and back into action! After a few balance passes and adding CSM a new ability ,tied in to chaos standard bearers, similar to as they shall know no fear, a very new whole mod release will be out next week.

Go check out Elite mod, the other DoW2 mod whose still alive! It is a multiplayer balance mod with a lot of nice additional changes and playable Grey Knight race too!

Tau army painter still crashes, don't select it, but you need tau schemes for your IG army anyway, so its all fine.


New stuff:

-Fixed IG bunker explosion. Now the bunker is properly destroyed.
-Ig can now deploy 6 heavy turrets regardless of starting base turrets.

-Scaled genestealer damage down a little to bring it more in line with other tyranid attacks. Now melee warriors should outdo genestealers in raw damage, while genestealers attacks ignore armour.

-New chaos ability, Dark Favour: Increases damage and health regeneration. Requires Aspiring champion for Tacticals, Raptor Champion for raptors, Icon bearer for Havocs, no requirement for Terminators.
-New chaos ability, Favour of Khorne: Increases damage and damage reduction, requires icon bearer for berzerkers, no requirement for bloodletters.
-New chaos ability, Favour of Nurgle: Greatly Increases regeneration, requires plague champion for plaguemarines.
-New chaos ability, Favour of Tzeentch: Greatly increases damage reduction, requires icon bearer for Rubric marines.
-New chaos ability, Favour of Slaanesh: Increases damage and speed, no requirement for Noisemarines.

These are a "chaos equivalent" for They shall know no fear, which increases damage, health regen, damage reduction but lowers speed.

just a suggestion, but arent genestealers very soft and squishy, i mean they arent as resilient as warriors, so they should die from range as easily as normal tyranid gaunts, and be dangerous in close combat, and maybe increase their speed and stealth so they can be used as even more specialized troops, also is there a fix for tyranids turret and spore bomb knockback effect, at least for SM and CSM.

It was mostly Hakon who solved the huge file format conversion issue, not me.

Stealers are already weaker than warriors healthwise, and already one of the fastest units in game.

I reduced the knockback on spore bomb to 20% chance. What else needs fixing with them?
