UnWheel is a driving modification for Unreal Tournament 2004. The idea behind UnWheel is not to create the ultimate racing game, or the 4x4 simulation with the best physics, or to specialise in any one area as other modifications and games do, but to simply create an assortment of gametypes and vehicles with the focus on fun driving, whether it be racing, rallying, or simply freestyle driving around. Thanks to Unreal Tournament 2004's support for extremely detailed models, you'll be driving some of the highest quality cars and trucks available. Each vehicle has it's own distinctive handling, and thanks to the excellent in-game physics, they all react in their own way to every bump in the road and every corner they turn. UnWheel really is a must-have modification for any driving fan, no matter what their preferred driving genre may be.

Realy nice mod.And it's big too.Way to go boys.
If I wuz you I'd license Unreal Engine 3 and sell UnWheel2 for cash.

Hey,I have a little question. So if anybody knows the answer lemme know..
I installed the mod but I had to do it by extracting from .exe file,
due to lack of HDD space on my PC for temp files while installing.
So I didn't get a shortcut for the editor. To get UnWheel editor up and runnin',I should be creating a .bat file with the following command:
..systemUnrealEd.exe -mod="UnWheel" ... is that right (just like for other tc's and mods, and then I'll get all actor classes visible, right)?

Here's a question:
I am in the process of trying to document and tag various music files that come with UT-series map packs. Can anyone tell me who the artist(s) is/are for the music that comes with the maps included in the UnWheel mod?
Any insights would be much appreciated as my online searches and music identification programs have not yet provided any information for these songs.
Thanks!

From what I recall, the artist is listed as "MTD" and the album as "Full Auto".

Hi Azarael,
Thank you very much for your response and information.
I apologize for the delay in replying. I did see "MTD" listed as the artist and the album as "Full Auto" for, at least, some of the tracks. Nothing seemed to correspond to any of the "official" Full Auto soundtracks I found so perhaps they were unofficial. Eventually I found a UW page which credited the artists as shown below. Perhaps "MTD" is one of these artists...
Music
Josh 'Strangelet' Grafton (White Noise Entertainment)
Honorary mentions
Andrew 'Rebel' Clarke - Additional Music

Very interesting! Thank you again for your help.

I gotcha.

Reddit.com

Quote from the page:

MTD

A UK musician named Josh Grafton who contributed music to the soundtracks of the Unreal Tournament mods Unwheel and Angels Fall First: Planetstorm. He had a great band in the early 2000s called MTD (Mentally Transmitted Disease) that seemingly never had any commercial success. He isn't currently active, but his work deserves a lot more attention than it gets.

Sounds like: Senser, Nine Inch Nails, Dan Bull

Notable tracks:

Take Up Your Sword

Shades of Grey

Plenty Of Your Kind

Sedated

Long Way Down

Oh WOW!! Thank you for finding that!!!
This information really fills in the blanks!
I will look up the tracks mentioned on the Reddit page. It's always nice to discover new music; video games seem to have so many hidden gems.
I am glad that I'll be able to give Josh Grafton (and MTD) proper credit in the UW mod soundtrack now.
Thank you very much again, Azarael! You rock!!
