The Universal Mod series is a multiplayer modification for Blitzkrieg 2 - Fall of the Reich that features 7 playable factions and 9 tech levels (including 2 sub mods). It includes more than 750 mech models, many of them new creation of Wittman to whom we own a lot. The main factions are: Germany, Japan, Italy (with support from Romania, Hungary and Finland), France or minor belligerents (Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, Spain - depending on the techlevel), Great Britain, United States (on the first tech level replaced by Poland), and USSR. In the mod infantry has a more important role than in the usual game.
Description
The latest available version of the mod. It fixes some problems, adds new models, and French and Spanish units for the French faction on the techlevel 42-43. In order to install the mod you need to extract this file into a certain folder called "Mods". If you dont have such a folder you need to create it. In CD version here: [C:\Program Files]Blitzkrieg 2 - Fall of the Reich\ In CDV version publishes in Germany: [C:\Program Files]\Blitzkrieg 2 - Fall of the Reich\Run\ On Steam: [C:\Program Files]\Steam\SteamApps\common\Blitzkrieg 2 Anthology\Blitzkrieg 2 - Fall of the Reich\ After this copy the file you downloaded earlier INTO this new folder and extract it there. After this start the game and try to load the Mod via the Mod tab in the main menu. If Universal Mod 17/18 occurs in the list the installation was concluded successfully. If you have problems with the installation, feel free to ask at any time.

There are more than 40 map, some from the basic game and others that have been made by users.
As i pointed out about this is an multiplayer mod, it hardly changes anything in the singleplayer.
