Ultimate Empire at War is a conversion of Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It aims to include four eras of Star Wars history: the Age of the Old Republic, the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the Dawn of the New Republic in an re-created game that is more engaging on both the tactical and strategic level, enhancing gameplay and deepening it, as well as overhauling the graphics in the game. In short - EaW the way it was meant to be - spanning Star Wars history in a deeply strategic game with high quality graphics and challenging gameplay.

Shimrra has been doing an excellent job virtually on his own, but it'd be unfair of me to leave him after my long absence.
It's time to do some balancing and AI testing, and I'm making a brand new GUI to incorporate our new game features and their displays and buttons... Which may sound a lot, but what it *does* mean is that we have all the structures, starbases, ships, even most of the research in-game and running.
I'll do a bigger news post later, but I'll soon be trying to activate the skirmish AI for the first time, so we can get some real shots and some nice testing going. Hopefully the AI won't be too GLaDOS-esque and try and kill the team with deadly neurotoxin.
