Ultimate Empire at War is a conversion of Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It aims to include four eras of Star Wars history: the Age of the Old Republic, the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the Dawn of the New Republic in an re-created game that is more engaging on both the tactical and strategic level, enhancing gameplay and deepening it, as well as overhauling the graphics in the game. In short - EaW the way it was meant to be - spanning Star Wars history in a deeply strategic game with high quality graphics and challenging gameplay.
In-engine promo shot - enjoy :P. Only thing missing here is anti-aliasing isn't enabled - so in-game it's smooother!
(as usual, view the original image for best resolution).
Nice job this mod is amazing!!
it is a different design, a different look about your models
looks good
Excellent job. The planet looks a little "squished" though. :S
yeah from the left and right side it looks like its being pushed ^^ but it still looks very very nice its probably the angle from where we are seeing it
This is due to both the angle and the shrinking of the image to fit this page by Moddb - try the view original, helps a little.
but werent ther 4 smaller engines on an ISD between the center and the outer engines 2 on each side of the center engine ?
no there wasn't. Only 3 main engines.
I worked from this image from Episode IV for reference on the engines:
Static.letsbuyit.com
There are 4 minor engines visible, but in normal cruising they don't appear to be active. These may potentially be back-up drives, auxiliary thrusters or part of the hyperspace system. Our model has them, as you can see, but as per the canon source, they're inactive in normal cruising.
maybe they use them for emergency thurst or flank speed.
maybe just for that extra boost to catch up to someone.
Perhaps, but they didn't need them to catch the Tantive IV, so they can't be that important :P
How will the combat capabilities of the ISD II differ from the standard ISD?
Exactly as canon. Differing weapons loadout, mainly.
