Novus Portal Ship V1 or V2 image - Triumph of the Hierarchy mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Assume command as the ambitious Hierarchy, the robotic Novus, the mysterious Masari, or the desperate humans in this mod inspired by the game Universe at War by SEGA and Petroglyph. New gameplay mechanics, new units, and an exciting campaign bring the war to life with additional factions to add to the chaos. So what will you do? Conquer, or survive? All models added in this mod are property of SEGA or Petroglyph, used with permission of their respective creators, or were made by the developers of Triumph of the Hierarchy. Permission was recieved from Petroglyph and SEGA prior to the start of work on the mod.
Well Well Well its been quite awhile since we have had a update hasn't huh? Well anyways to all are fans we have announcement we have made two Novus Portal Ships which is a unit that will allow the productions of more units even with or without a starbase availability in the game and we need your help in which one you guys want to see ingame ;) we want the community involvement and desires to help make this mod into reality. So let me introduce and describe the two that you see. although they both have the same concept of being able to produce ships they both are different in build. The one in the left is a huge version of the portal ship heavily armed and only to small hanger bays at each side however since its massive it has a huge Hull meaning its like dealing with a floating tank. Now the your right is another version of the portal ships which is a lot less armored than the left however is more armed with batteries and pulse cannons to bring devastation to the battle along with a bigger hanger bay which produces extremely more fighters than the left but be warn the right has less armor so it needs more protection or else its toast in space. so please give your vote and we will announce soon the winner :]
I would vote for the one on the left. I feel it fits better with the Novus' style of fast strike and retreat. It is also more delicate like the Novus units in the game. just my opinion.

I would be the coder, and it follows the same principal as the Habitat Walker, which is rather simple once you know how a base works and how a unit works. In skirmish it will act as a mobile base (capable of replacing the Level 5 station) and in Galactic Conquest (unlike the Habitat Walker), it will be able to deploy frigates and corvettes into battle.
I guessed it would be you! Well then I bow before your awesomeness! So how did you figure out how to code this? A flash of genius or tedious work?
More so a flash of genius that needed some tweaking over time.
