I thought the Lakota was just an Exelsior Class Starship.
Erm... Yeah. The Lakota is the specific name of an Excelsior-Class from... DS9 (I think. Probably not, though...) So I'll assume it's a hero.
As I remember right (havent seen ds9 for some time) the Lakota was also called "Lakota-Refit" which was just a newer and updated Excelsior.
