Erm... After playing the mod, which is great =-), I saw that Intrepid didn't have photons or phasers... Fix? I know you did it on purpose, but you could just make its phasers less powerful and accurate... I like Starfleet weaponry and I'd like to see it on all the ships... Photons and phasers just seem to give me an adrenaline rush... =-)
Just played it for about 2 hours.
Pulsephasers on an Intrepid are... mhmmmm I tried it in SFC3 and it wasn't that cool, but I found it quit nice here.
Yet I would like to see the Voyager with odinary Phasers and Torpedos or light Phasers against Fighters.
There should be about 4 or 5 types of phasers available to Star Trek ships, just number them. I think the Ent-E had type XII phasers, so they could count as heavy. you could have type XIII as light starbase phasers, type XIV as heavy starbase phasers, XI as phasers for cruiser class vessels (Excelsior & smaller?) and X for Frigates and Destroyers. Destroyers on the other hand could be outfitted with pulse phasers like the defiant class. Lots of possibilities!
