News about this mod :

In this article you will find information about the second beta that will be released shortly as well as the first version of the mod that will arrive much later but to show you the difference, the additions and the new features.

The release of the second beta :

We will soon post the new version of our beta. This second beta aims to show a bit more about what we have planned for this mod.

For this version you will find more factions (from 10 factions to 21 factions !), new historical events, some of which are uchronies (fictional events told from a historical starting point), added textures (vanilla), added titles when you capture a colony, new faction emblems, a correction to the accents and the map has not changed yet and is therefore the same as the previous version.

The publication of the first version of the mod :

We can announce that after the release of this second beta, the next release of the mod will be the first version of the mod. This first version will include the factions and the map but with major changes.

There will be an overhaul of the units from the vanilla and other mods, an overhaul of the mercenaries in the mod and the addition of AOR troops focusing mainly and currently on knights on horseback and knights on foot linked to certain cities or historical regions. In addition @dadasauvage is working on a new campaign map that will be twice the size of the current map. We also expect all titles to be finished (for settlements, perhaps titles that require settlement capture conditions will not be added to the mod yet). We are also working on the most historical family tree possible for each faction. Characters will be illustrated with new character icons from paintings, icons from medieval manuscripts or others...

There will also be a possible redesign of emblems to be more aesthetic, the addition of Norway but which will not be playable because it arrives during the campaign (an event is linked to them and is already present the second beta). But also a possible addition of more and more events linked to the mod and the regions present in the mod.

Unfortunately, this version will be a bit late to be posted because we are only two people working on this mod, it may be a long time before it is posted here. However, rest assured that we're doing everything we can to keep the mod moving along reasonably but without compromising quality. If you want to help us, we are currently looking for people who know how to mod on Medieval 2.

We hope this news will make you want to play the mod. Don't hesitate to give us your opinion in the comments area to share your feelings, ideas or any other constructive remarks.
