This is a singleplayer map for the game "Call of Duty: World at War" My mapping "career", as it were, started back near the end of 2012 or early 2013 when I tried to make a singleplayer expansion for World at War. Many years later, in 2016, I tried my hand at it again, and sure enough, Tokyo came out some 13 or so months later! I learned a lot from this project, including how to actually properly script AI for world at war! I've taken on a large project for World at War in recent times (of which I'll be posting a little later down the line), but this project is still somewhat fun, albeit janky. Download it and have a good time with it! In order to play, first install the map in user/appdata/local/Activision/CoDWaW/mods Then, launch the game, go to mods, launch the mod Finally, press the ~ key and type: devmap tokyo The map will launch and play. Tell me what you all think. My level design philosophy has changed heavily since then, but it's always nice to hear some opinions.

It won't run with my game, devmap Tokyo does nothing. Please help, your mod looks awesome and I wanna play it
First you download and install the mod into your mods folder.
In game, you find Tokyo in your mods manager, and launch it.
Then you type in "devmap tokyo" to launch the map.

Mediocre map, classic "spawn the hell out of enemy NPCs faster than the friendly NPCs".
I appreciate the honest review! As for the NPC spawning, you are given 8 allies (I think it's been a while) that will respawn when the others die. There's just more enemy NPC's than allied ones because when I tried it at an equal amount it got WAY too easy.
I agree though, replaying it, it feels mediocre.
The map is not bad. Maybe too bright.

It was a very fun experience, I only have one request, more things, more props to make it more immersive, otherwise the mod is super fun
