If you wanna make a very historical mod, you should based on books and historical materials.
I also recommend you listening a song of Sabaton. 1648 is the title of that song, and it's about end of thirty years war.
And I think you should add Bohemia, because it was very important country in this war.
Thank you for the tips, because i could not get a lot of referencing materials in my country (Philippines) we don't even know our own history cause of all these bloody changes in the history books, but our religion teacher taught us about the polish "winged hussars" and most of our class were very interested,(in a historic cosplay event at school we even dressed as zolniers, and imperial soldiers hahaha).But I cant add nations yet (sadly cause of the outdated tools paradox gave us) but I can most likely include their units in another faction they were allies with, and add their Generals and banners ^_^ .
Oh man, I think history is the most important thing if you wanna make your mod as "realistic" as possible.
You should also check some movies about thirty years war.
For example there is a film "The Last Valley" (1971) and it's about thirty years war (based on historical novel of J. B. Brick).
