i need to say this right away just b/c ppl actually pat attention to this forum... the Helm's Deep map has... an issue...several actually and i need to point them out (note i love the map though) the gate is always closed but theres a ditch under it that everything can run under and theres no gate inside the keep via the deeping wall, its completely unnessicery to even fight there. isengard can just attack the keep in full force and then shower the elves n such with crossbows from the wall of the keep!!! plz fix these problems. and if u can make minas tirith look this epic i look forward to the same with helms deep :) (i suggest using something akin to sappers from rome total war to destroy the wall)
Dude the deeping wall is where i won the battle. I played as rhe elve
And put my archers on the wall with the huge gap (the one made out of earth) and i placed all my infantry right int the gap. My archers were perfect and my infantry along with the rohan army alzo placed there was able to hold the uruk army right there they never got throught that gap. As for the rohan army actually ppaced in the actual keep they just stuck out on the ramp and showered the uruk army with their archers. Then of course the rohan riders swept down the hill and destroyed the remnants of the uruk army. it was epic :)
if its real minas tirith and it will be able to play with units INSIDE then im gonna play day and night that mod , and there gonna be new units or what ?

(Middle Earth Role Playing Game).
But wow... I thought this mod has completely stopped due to that huge update.
relax everyone were looking at several months if they plan on incorparating REAL models for helms deep, minas tirith, isengard, minas morgul, barad dur, etc
Its obvious that city buildings is the weak point in this mod. Or better saying, THE ONLY WEAK POINT, because this mod its the best I have ever seen in life.
So. You could easly use the original cities to the Men factions.
Also use eastern original ones for the eastern factions.
For orcs, you certainly should mod. Its so sad to attack a orc city and deparate with the same buildings from the men, its killing the mod. We wanna see tribal buildings with heads in pickets and stakes everywhere.
For the Dwarves, you obviously cannot have battles inside mountains so you could do the model of the city-mountain and the war would be outside, in the filed,just put some details arround the mountain like a plaza.
And there is also the great ones, like minas tirith... if you make minas tirith like in the movie, this mod will be not just a mod, but a fan dream that had never been realized by CA.
