The map for the campaign has entered a basic stage, where we can view it ingame. The actual campaign will be a while in coming, but you can view the terrain and size of the map. Further below in this article is a download link for this preview, though not an official release or a patch.

Full Credit to a modder named Kuş Bilge for making the map with my input.

The map contains both the Seanchan Continent and the Westlands and Three-Fold Land of the Main Continent, and Shara is not part of the game. The Sharan armies will fight in the Final Battle, but they can not be trained, and will rather be spawned in at the time of the Last Battle.

The Blight and the Three-Fold Land are both Desert Climates, as there is no Blight climate/ground type in the base game. This however, will likely be changed before the official release. Not much is known about the Seanchan Continent, so we had to improvise a lot. The only city we know for sure about is Seandar, which is still never confirmed in the books.

This is map_features, map_heights, and map_climates combined to give you an overall idea of the map. You can see the Spine of the World/Dragonwall near the outskirts of the map, with the Three-Fold Land right behind it.

The final map will have each country made into its own region, except for the Borderlands, which are merged into one region with Fal Dara as the capitol. This is because the blight is one region and if the Borderlands are more regions than the Blight then they will inevitably destroy the Dark One and then where would we be. Meanwhile the Seanchan continent is split into more than one region, because even in the books they have more men on Seanchan than there are in the Westlands. However, some of the regions will be rebel controlled.

The time period and regions of the campaign is a little changed from the books, to give each faction a chance. To this effect, Andor has control of the land in between it and Ghealdan that is unclaimed, and Tear is expanded a little north, though not to such a degree that they interfere with any other factions.

If it was said to start in any one book, it would be A Crown of Swords. Perrin Aybara will have control of Mayene, Ghealdan, and the Two Rivers. Andor will be under the control of Elayne Trakand. Cairhien and Tear will be sovereign nations, not sworn to the Dragon Reborn, but there will be Military Access, Military Alliance, and Trade Rights treaties in place between them and the Dragon Reborn. Illian will be under the control of Mattin Stepaneos. Arad Doman will be led by Alsalam, and the Faction Heir will be Rodel Ituralde. Here is where it veers of the books a little:

The Band of the Red Hand will have control of Altara and Murandy. This is because Mat is in Ebou Dar at the time and Talmanes won Roedran his throne. The Dragon Reborn at the time will be in the Aiel Waste, and the Shaido besieging Cairhien. Meanwhile, the Seanchan will have Almoth Plain and Tarabon.

Remember, this isn't in the game yet. Right now you can just view the map.

Should be in a couple of days. I just finished a beta map, with a campaign that has all of the factions assigned right. The problem is it crashes when loading. I'm looking into it now and the campaign should be released within a week or so

Really well. I have one error when you try to load the campaign, where it crashes at the end of the loading bar, every time. Currently working on it should be out soon. Other than the crash the campaign is near done.

No, unfortunately. The actual campaign map is still crashing, and the mapper I'm working with is taking a while getting back to me. I honestly have no idea what the problem is, so this will take a while. Other than, that it is done

No it won't. I've used trace an error logs. While error just says unspecified error, trace just says that the last file opened was faction_troubled.tga, and I'm guessing the reason for the crash is actually something that happens when I click start, since it kind of pauses for a second.
