The striker will be a trilogy of custom stories with an interesting story and some awesome features you've never seen in Amnesia: The dark descent. The striker trilogy, got its name for a reason. And it is that you can actually strike and kill monsters using hammers. It is a feature I created, but be warned: They will need 2 hits to "die". When you kill a monster, it will turn into a hallucination and disappear when close to you. Also they don't exactly die, since once you kill a monster (e.g. The Brute) it will still be present in other maps. Also, something you need to know is that, not all encounters have a hammer nearby... And for those which don't you should run for your life because there are absolutely NO hiding spots! In that trilogy you'll find yourself in a lot of difficult situations. Just fight / run your way through and you'll be alright. There will be a message displayed when you can fight back and there will be a hammer nearby. If you cannot, RUN!!

The story itself wasn't bad and I had fun playing this custom story. The puzzles were sometimes strange but also unique, which is great. The downside was some of the level design was bland, for example, rooms had furniture but hallways were an empty maze of doors and wall candlesticks. But boy, that abrupt ending..

simplistic level design with some basic atmosphere and music, mostly lame monster encounters, a bit too many resources, but some creativity shown during the puzzles :)

I gave this mod a 5/10 because...

-The map design felt generic to me
-The "combat" system takes away fear of monsters; encounters were pointless and annoying
-I wasn't fond of the story (although this may be improved in the later installments)
-Puzzles were WAY too easy; I felt like they were meant for grade school students or something
I hope Chapter 2 is more interesting, and explains the origins of these monsters and all...
