The Sith Wars II is a era mod for Star Wars Battlefront II and sequel to last year's The Sith Wars. This mod will bring back the signature force and saber hero combat, with blaster units integrated into the mod. While TSW 1 focused on multiplayer combat, The Sith Wars II is optimized for singleplayer. The mod is set in the open space after Disney's removal of the original Legends timeline, and takes places thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin.

So as much as I love this amazing mod, it does seem to favor the Brotherhood/Jedi. The Sith Empire is just simply overpowered and have a harder time winning. It isn't impossible, but if you want you may take my following suggestions into consideration.

Sith Empire:

Vos's pistols need to be buffed up a bit. They currently don't do quite enough damage imo.

Darth Khan gets shredded in combat, I feel a bit more health would do him justice.


The Brotherhood:

The Sith Lord, Warrior, and Assassin should have their stamina bar reduced, so they can't block for quite as long. I'd say remove blocking for them entirely, but then the Brotherhood would be a bit too weak. (This also goes for the Jedi)

Maybe lower the Sith Assassin's health and increase her speed? I feel like this would balance her out a bit better, because I personally struggle against her. The speed boost would also make her feel more like an "assassin" to me.


I'd also recommend nerfing force bolt, it currently is a bit overpowered with it's high damages and knockback. (This is mainly an issue in Sith Legends mode)

After playing some Brotherhood vs Empire, I've had a hard time pushing Brotherhood command posts without getting cut to pieces, and the AI aren't the best at defending against Brotherhood attacks on Empire command posts. As the Brotherhood I can almost always capture all the Empire command posts before their reinforcements run out.


But these are just some of my thoughts after playing for a while, so take them as you will. It could always be I'm just not any good XD Thanks for this truly amazing mod, now I'm back to playing it some more!

Once again, let me say this mod is super sweet, and serious kudos for being willing to hear people's suggestions to make this great mod even better. So here are a few.

I find it basically impossible to win as the Sith Brotherhood (at least on Elite) as the amount of Team Killing through lighting is absurd. They get cut to pieces by the opposing AI too, especially by the Empire.

Darth Malinox's (I think that was the spelling) Force Blast I find impossible to aim, for some reason floating above where the target is pointed, which makes it difficult to be effective.

I love the Sith Incinerator's flamethrower, but somehow the attack can be blocked, which is quite unrealistic (for Star Wars sake lol). It also is not very damage dealing and makes the class a little underpowered.

I feel since some of the Brotherhood Sith have limited abilities while others have more, maybe adjusting the point system so players might have to work towards Sith with more powers would be cool, as the starting class seems to be outclassed compared to the other starting selections (In my opinion, I don't know what your feelings were).

And is there a reason why some maps, like Hoth or Geonosis, don't have Sith Wars II on?

I'll see if I come up with anything else, but this is a great mod with some sweet ideas that really make the game so much cooler. Again I was so excited for this release, as it looked super sweet, and I can't wait for the custom maps to come out soon!!!

It's funny how we both have different opinions on who's op. I don't have team killing on so that may make a difference. On elite do you have more luck as the Empire? I just find that weird considering I can barely win as them on normal.

Oh and to aim his force blast thing, you're gonna have to look down towards the ground.

Yea on Elite I find the Empire to destroy every time. The Sith really kill themselves, and I've only been able to win with them once on Korriban. Interesting views on the mod. I mean, the Sith would usually just lose by like 50 each time.'

And yea, great suggestion on the Force Bolt. Sith Legends was really comical as I would get jostled around constantly on spawn. I really don't know how to keep track of whose winning either...

Hey there! Force blast is intentionally hard to aim, as to reduce the power of the weapon. Regarding balancing issues, I have had a wide range of people saying a certain faction is overpowered; I have almost come to the conclusion that this is due to personal preference. For example, someone good with a saber may find the Brotherhood overpowered while a good gunner may think the opposite. If you read the Q&A, your question regarding why the era is not present on some maps would be solved. Hope you enjoy the mod -Mag/kp

I don't know, maybe reducing the power better would be to have accurate aim, but deplete the whole stamina bar and requires it to be filled to use. But hey that's just me. I totally see where you are coming from though.

May I ask how I have a saber picture under my name?


The one balancing affect could be to buff the troopers(sorry forgot the ingame name) weapon damage due to it being kinda weak, Whenever the sith brotherhood get close your dead there blocking last's too long you could also try lowering that but otherwise the mod is great and feels like a whole new game! P.S a campaign would be awesome if you could somehow add that in!
