Sometime I hate it how render hides most of the details.

*Sigh* I really need to start skinning these things.

Also, I wander how many people will get the reference. (As in what unit this is based from)

Tiger II?
Seems a bit unlikely with the turret shape, but worth a (pot) shot.
But if I remember my special purpose vehicles right...

Yep :D

The turret ended up being a lot flatter than what I intended but the Tiger-II was the inspiration.

BTW "Bha'lir" is a Tiger-ish predator in the SW universe located at the planet Iyred: Starwars.wikia.com

Thought so. So, I take you're beefing that up a bit?
Was going to suggest it either way, given its heavy tank status and the fact that there seems to be barely any room for the gun in there.

Don't really know. I mean it doesn't looks THAT bad.

As for the gun its basically a energy discharger that is plugged into the engine, it has no breech, loading mechanism or shells to speak of.

And the gun is much smaller. Those huge "roles" over the barrel are actually Galven coils.

Compared to the rest of the vehicle, it kind of looks...puny. And it's a sin to have more tank than absolutely necessary.
Probably has a decent bit of logistics still attached to the arse end. Or at least a counterweight so it's centre of mass is a bit closer to wherever it's attached to the turret. And on a vehicular chassis, you'd probably need a few capacitors between it and the engine, which would be best placed as close to the thing as possible.
Of course, at this point, I'm already halfway into debating physics for a Star Wars setting. -_-'

This looks nothing like any tank in the Wermacht, this model is sleak and a lot less curvy than german tanks -nontheless, a kingtiger as even the most prominent feature of a high superstructure is nowhere in this model on further elaboration the turret is not alike the standard Henschel one but somewhat close to a Porshe variant, on the contrary it resembles a handfull of post ww2 soviet tanks like the T55.

Description

Created by RCA I as a direct counter to Empire's Apocalypse tanks, the Armoured Combat Vehicle-182 or Bha'lir as it was called, was as deadly and feared as the predator it was named after.
Armed with a 150mm RVW-43 Plasma Fusion cannon and protected by thick Phrik re-inforced armor along with an active protection system that can destroy anything from shoulder mounted missiles to air dropped bomb, this giant could take the worst in can be thrown at it all the while making short work on the offender.
However, due to the rarity of the Phrik crystal and the complexity of the construction, these beasts can only be built on the most industrialized planets and only when a planet with natural Phrik deposits is occupied.

Note: The Phrik deposits is a concept we're toying with. It's an idea to make Galaxy quests more interesting. It may or may not be implemented.
