Got around to finishing up the Mosin Nagant. Considering I can go to the local sporting goods store and buy one for about $150, I'm sure they would be everywhere in the zone.
I'm going to add in some 7.62x54 "surplus" ammo for the Nagant and Svt-40. Maybe have it less reliable then the good sniper grade. Both the svt and nagant are supposed to be old rifles that wouldn't get used if the user could afford something better, so I can't see them affording the sniper grade stuff.
If I can figure out a way, I'd like to add the Lee Enfield, Springfield 03, and K98. Problem is, I don't want add in an ammo type for just one specific rifle.
Very impressive. Very detailed model; good work.
Karabiner 98k is not incorrect to use 7.62x51mm NATO rounds, beacuse in the 50's the Israeli Army rechambered the existing rifles to the more convenient ammunition. (There were no special markings on the rifles just a "7.62mm" sign on the stock...)
The Enfield also have a 7.62mm version from India called Ishapore 2A1. Basically its a usual Lee Enfield chambered to use the NATO cartridge.
